Visit The Landmark Wu-Tang Clan Exhibition In Paris
The event will showcase the creative universe of the Wu-Tang Clan through paintings, recordings and album covers, clothes, unpublished photographs or objects never shown before (we wonder if Martin Shkreli would have liked to lend his unique copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the most expensive album in the world?).
“The idea is to allow the general public to immerse themselves in the band’s ultra-productive creativity, whose logo and aesthetics, have inspired dozens of artists of all kinds, from stylists to designers”
Several events will be organised in parallel with the exhibition, such as the screening of Gerald Barclay’s documentary Wu: The Story of The Wu-Tang Clan, an open private view featuring official Wu-Tang DJs (May 10), children’s workshops and the presentation of Olivier Annet N’Guessan’s book Wu Lab (May 11).
The “Wu Lab” exhibition will take place from May 5th to 18th at La Place, 10 passage de la Canopée, Paris. After Paris, the next stop will be London and who knows, it might even end up on our side of the pond after.
