Slice of the good life in tour deals

TRAVELLERS can look forward to an exciting year ahead as Trafalgar unveils its 2018 Europe and Britain programmes.

They will be spoilt for choice as they plan their next holiday or big adventure from 120 itineraries across 45 countries and eight different travel styles.

What is even more unique about the tour packages is that they are carefully crafted to provide customers a slice of “The Good Life” when travelling.

The leading guided holiday company believes that guests are looking for effortless travel, authentic moments and fun times.

Trafalgar chief executive officer Gavin Tollman explained that the itineraries were designed based on customer feedback which they received via travel agents.

“We want to continuously deliver diverse travel opportunities, giving our travellers the best holidays and a good life.

“By connecting them with the locals of a destination, curating experiences and injecting individual elements, we want to create ‘pinch me’ moments that could change the way they see the world forever,” said Tollman.

There is also the Trafalgar “Be My Guest” experience in which locals welcome travellers into their homes, their cultures and tell stories, allowing visitors to really immerse in their way of life.

Additionally, the well-designed itineraries have features like after-hours private dining at The Vatican, wine-making with an Italian family in Tuscany, feasting on a home-cooked dinner in a 17th century farmhouse in France and staying at Ireland’s Ashford Castle.

If you grew up with the award- winning movie The Sound of Music, here is your chance to be part of the Von Trapp family by visiting and staying at the Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria, where scenes from the movie were filmed.

Holiday Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd International Tours and GSA vice-president Jamie How said they guarantee a very different experience when you travel with Trafalgar.

“We don’t get our guests to wait when checking into a hotel or visiting a place. We want to provide a seamless experience so they don’t have to worry about anything.

“It’s also great to know that we have guests who keep coming back and booking with us. One customer who will be travelling in April next year told me that she is already planning for another trip in 2019 with her friends,” she remarked.

At the launch, Trafalgar also introduced its sister company, Uniworld, known for its boutique river cruises.

Uniworld unveiled a modern take on river cruises called U by Uniworld that caters to travellers aged 21 to 45 who have a passion for exploring and a taste for authentic adventures.
