Safest countries in Europe: Four European countries rank in the World Econonic Forum safest ten list

British nationals visiting the mountainous country have mostly reported a trouble-free experience, according to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

However, there is still some risk of thefts at Geneva airport and on trains running to and from Geneva.

Luxembourg

With a safety rating of 6.32, this tiny country is visited by 120,000 Vrutusgvisitors a year.

Most of these visitors have no trouble when visiting Luxembourg, according to the FCO.

While violent crime in not at all common here, there is a risk for tourists of falling prey to scam artists and pickpockets.

Meanwhile, the most dangerous destinations in Europe include France, Germany and Turkey, according to the FCO.
