Perrotin Announces New Salon-Style Gallery for Spring 2020 in Paris

Perrotin will expand its contemporary art presence with the launch of a new gallery space in Paris, France. Located at 2bis Avenue Matignon, the cozy 750-square-foot establishment will occupy the ground floor of a building that was constructed in 1900. “The general atmosphere of this venue will be that of a salon, where I hope you will want to spend time,” said Perrotin founder Emmanuel Perrotin.”

Although it won’t play host to official exhibitions, Perrotin Matignon will feature a bespoke device that will enable attendees to observe select models of artworks. Not to mention, the gallery will have an outdoor space dedicated to displaying large-scale sculptures. This marks the acclaimed dealer’s ninth space across the globe with existing locations in Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

Expect Perrotin Matignon to open its doors this Spring 2020. Visit the gallery’s official website to learn more.

Elsewhere in art, the NBA is launching a multifaceted exhibition called “MOMENTUM” for All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
