Movies in the Park continues June 8 with Beauty and the Beast
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park in back this Saturday at Heritage Park. The City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, continues June 8 with the showing of “Beauty and the Beast” at Heritage Park.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a demonstration using liquid nitrogen by Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM.
Activities also include the Grumpy Beast Freeze Dance, performances by CAST Crowns Performing Arts, and the screening of local film festival winning film, Black Beauty.
Clarksville-Montgomery County Library will host a Balancing Books Relay Race and attendees can sign up for a free library card.
The movie will begin promptly at 8:00 p.m.
Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks. Pets and alcohol are not permitted. Berry Bear Frozen Yogurt, Kadi’s Tacos Food Truck, and Harmony Farms Kettle Corn will be available for food and drink purchases.
