Last day at the Riad Kheirredine where we have met so many friendly staff members who feel more like friends than staff. Think I’m also sick from drinking tap water tea with the locals, eating saffron chicken and downing space cake that was more like a paste in a bag

5. The Oberoi, Mauritius
I read yesterday that @theoberoimauritius has been voted by @tripadvisor as having the best swimming pool in the world. We stayed here for our honeymoon 11 years ago and were totally blown away, what an incredible hotel. The villas, the pool, the food, the service was to die for. When we went back to Mauritius last year we popped in to have a wander around because we were staying a few hotels away and it looked as fabulous as ever. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous hotel if you are looking for total luxury and to just totally chill out
