Online furniture store TRNK showcases new sofa line in first LA pop-up

TRNK, the online furniture and decor company geared toward men, has unveiled its first pop-up concept store at Platform LA, a shopping center in Culver City, California.

Open through April 30, the temporary shop dubbed the Guesthouse showcases the brand’s in-house TRNK Collection alongside a series of collaborations and events, including an installation by and shop-in-shop from local floral studio Of the Flowers, wine from Winc, and exclusive artwork from photographer Hamish Robertson.

Based in New York City, its founders Tariq Dixon and Nick Nemechek chose the Golden State for its first shop to further establish its lifestyle voice but also to grow its in-house line, whose pieces are produced at a factory here.

“We’re naturally evolving into more of a design studio, and plan to release several new product lines in the coming months,” Dixon said.

“You’ll also notice a visual shift in the product with more colors, patterns and textures that will be ever-changing.”
