Annual Cottage Lawn Farmer’s market season still set to begin May 26
ONEIDA — The Madison County Historical Society’s 6th Annual Cottage Lawn Farmers’ Market season still expected to open for the season on Tuesday, May 26.
The farmers’ market will be held on the grounds of the Madison County Historical Society, every Tuesday, May 26 through Sept.
1 from 3 to 7 p.m.
The market will feature local, seasonal produce, cheese, eggs, herbs, soaps, maple products, honey, poultry, and more.
Cottage Lawn Farmers’ Market welcomes New York State Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program Checks.
The New York State Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program consists of two programs: the Women, Infants, and Children Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program and the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. Those who are eligible for these programs are provided checks to redeem for fresh, local fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands.
Due to the present COV- 19 guidelines, the Madison County Historical Society is unable to offer the themed weeks that residents have come to enjoy each week at the market.
Madison County Historical Society officials said they will be closely monitoring the situation and if it should change, they will inform the public.

The Madison County Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that operates both a museum and the Mary King Research Library located at 435 Main Street in Oneida.
