After Europe, Congress VP Rahul Gandhi to spend New Year 2017 in London
New Delhi, December 31: The Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday extended new year wishes to Twitterati as he left for London on a private visit just ahead of December 31.
“I will be traveling for the next few days.Happy New Year to everyone,wishing you and your loved ones success happiness in this coming year,” Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter.

His trip is expected to last a week and Rahul will return only after the new year. The trip comes amidst the recent intense accusing session by RaGa against PM Modi for the demonetisation move announced on November 8.
PM Modi will address the nation on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm after the completion of 50 days of currency ban. Meanwhile, in the recent political developments, there has been a turmoil in Uttar Pradesh which came to rest today morning with revoking of Akhilesh Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav’s expulsion by Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Last year, on December 28, Gandhi had mentioned that he will be travelling to Europe. “I will be travelling to Europe for a few days. A very Happy New Year to everyone,” he had mentioned.
