TODAY is tipped to be the hottest Father’s Day on record with a scorching 91F 33C.
And the temperature will soar past the 30.1C that made yesterday the year’s warmest day.

The sizzler — hotter than parts of the Med and Caribbean — saw sunseekers hit beaches in Brighton, Bournemouth and Newquay.
Thousands also flocked to parks and outdoor pools.
Gravesend in Kent sweltered at 29.2C with Wisley in Surrey a notch higher at 29.4C. Bushy Park in Teddington, South West London, was the country’s hottest at 30C.

Tomorrow is expected to be EVEN HOTTER with temperatures possibly rising as high as 33C – just in time for Father’s Day.
The 29.5C recorded today is much higher than the June average of 20C with most of England and Wales waking up to warm weather and clear skies this morning.
The five soldiers, all member of the Household Division which was inspected by Her Majesty today, were wearing the iconic bearskin hats and red tunics when they collapsed.
One was spotted being taken away on a stretcher at Horse Guard’s Parade while another was given water by a policeman while trying to recover himself on The Mall.
A temperature of 28.6C was recorded in nearby St James’s Park – indicating the kind of heat the soldiers would have had to endure while parading in full dress uniform.
The parade in central London took place around midday when the sun was at its highest point in the sky and was followed by a 41-gun salute and RAF fly past.

Forecasters from the Met Office said a sunny day was expected for most of the UK today but cloudier parts of north-western Britain, where it has been raining this morning, will mean temperatures there will only reach 14C.
An area of high pressure is currently sitting over Britain, bringing the sunshine and warm weather, but a mass of low pressure is pushing in from the north meaning rain and colder conditions for inhabitants of Scotland’s western Isles and western Northern Ireland.
England, Wales, eastern Scotland, and eastern Northern Ireland will enjoy the best of the BBQ and shorts weather, expected to be the hottest weekend of the year so far, but there will also be a high pollen and UV count as a result.

Sun-seekers are advised to wear hats and sunscreen as well as staying well-hydrated and not to leave themselves exposed for too long under the midday sun.
Emma Salter, a forecaster from the Met Office, said: “In England and Wales it’s going to be dry and fine with plenty of sunshine.
“It’s going to turn very hot as well with top temperatures today at 29C.
“To put that in context, we would usually see temperatures of around 20C as a maximum for this time of year – so it’s well above average.”
She added: “It’s important to take care in hot weather.
“Wear sun cream and stay out of the sun when it is at its strongest – from 12 midday to 3pm.
“Also cover up and drink lots of water.”
Tonight will be milder in temperature and have a muggy feel for many, making sleeping uncomfortable, though it will remain cloudy in western parts with a risk of a little light and patchy rain.

Tomorrow will see another day of sweltering conditions for much of the UK but cloud will continues to linger in the northwest of Scotland and Northern Ireland – giving a risk of some rainfall.
Emma said: “Tomorrow looks basically the same in terms of the sunshine but those temperatures are likely to rise another degree or two.
“For Sunday we’re looking at, as a top temperature, something in the regions of 31C or 32C and a chance off 33C.”
The sun-bathing weather will continue into next week with plenty of places seeing sunny conditions on Monday and temperatures still nudging into the early thirties.
But the mercury will start to drop on Tuesday leaving many people with cooler and fresher conditions.

This weekend is also marked by the Queen’s official birthday with the Trooping of the Colour taking place today with Her Majesty then inspecting the soldiers of her Household Division.
